TRIP INFORMATION

Naya Kanga Peak, also known as Ganja La Chuli, is a popular Nepal trekking peak in the Langtang region. Langtang itself is a much-visited climbing destination and famous for spectacular, panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet. Its several snow peaks make this region an ideal destination for mountaineers for acclimatization, and the many small peaks, which require no previous climbing experience, give trekkers the experience of climbing in Nepal . Naya Kanga is an attractive peak rising to the west of the Ganja La (5,122m) . Ascending Ganja La or the summit of Naya Kanga offers spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Langshisa Ri (6,370m), Pemthang Ri (6,836m), Shisapangma (8,046m), Langtang Lirung (7,425m), Pemthang Kapro Ri (6,830m) and Langtang II (6,571m). Follow the route of the Langtang trek to Kyangjin (3,749m) To the north are several hills that provide both magnificent views and opportunities for acclimatization. Northeast of Kyangjin Ri (4,700m), there are two peaks; Yala Peak (5, 500m) and Tsergo Peak (5,749m) that are good for acclimatization. The normal ascent route is the North East Face and the North Ridge.

Day 01 : Kathmandu - Syabrubensi by land transportation.
Day 02 : Trek to Lama Hotel
Day 03 : Trek to Langtang
Day 04 : Trek to Kyangjin Gompa
Day 05 : Rest at Kyangjin.
Day 06 : Exploration and climbing on Tsergo Ri for acclimatization.
Day 07 : Trek to Naya Kanga base camp.
Day 08 : High Camp.
Day 09 : Summit - Base Camp.
Day 10: Spare day for summit
Day 11 : Trek to Kyangjin.
Day 12 : Trek to Lama Hotel
Day 13 : Trek to Syabrubensi
Day 14 : Syabrubensi- Kathmandu by land transportation.
