TRIP INFORMATION

The Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is accessible by air, road and water. The journey by air is a 45 minutes flight to Biratnagar from Kathmandu and then a one and half hours drive to the Camp. Rafting down the wild stretches of the Sun Koshi River is another exciting way to reach the destination. The third option would be the 9 – 10 hour, scenic 500 km drive on a meandering road. from Kathmandu. Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp makes an exciting alternative destination for visitors who have already visited Chitwan National Park or Bardia National Park and for trekkers heading for, or returning from, the Arun Vally/Makalu or Kanchanjunga regions. It is also an ideal place to break the journey from Kathamndu to Sikkim, Darjeeling, or Bhutan.

Itinerary:

Day 01:
On Your arrival at Airport from Biratnagar our staff will receive you. or by rafting down for 8-10 days. You will then be transferred to resort. On reaching resort, our Guest Relations Officer will brief guests. Afternoon where you will learn more about the area.
8.00 p.m.- Dinner

Day 02:
6.00 am - Wake Up Call followed by tea/coffee.
7:00 am - full day Bird Watching
1.00 p.m. - Lunch
3.00 p.m. - Jungle walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals,
8.00 p.m. - Dinner

Day 03:
6.00 am - Wake Up Call followed by tea/coffee.
7.30 am - Breakfast. Jugale activities
12.00 p.m. - Lunch.
1.00 p.m. - Departure for onward journey.
