TRIP INFORMATION


The Kailash & Manasarover region in western Tibet attracts the sincere Buddhist, Hindu, Jain & Bon devotees to worship in the icy waters. The entrance of Mt. kailash is a 6,656 meters high pyramid of travel restrictions increasing numbers of adventures is coming here to admire the spectacular view of nature. On this trip, we fly first Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and Simikot then to border town of Purang for 5 days. From Purang we head onto Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarover and after complete Kora. We descent back to kathmandu via Zhangmu border.

Itinerary

Day 01: Fly to Nepalgunj and Overnight
Day 02: Fly to Simikot and commence trek. Overnight.
Day 03: Trek to Kermi. Overnight at camp
Day 04: Trek to Yalbang Gompa Day
Day 05: Trek to Tumkot Khola
Day 06: Trek to Thado Dunga
Day 07: Trek over Nara La Pass (4325m) to camp at Hilsa.
Day 08: Trek half an hour to Sher drive to Taklakot, settle all formalities / Visit Lhamo Yutok Monastery.
Day 09: Drive to Raxas Tal
Day 10: Drive to Darchen foot of Mt. kailash
Day 11: Trek to Dira Phuk Gompa
Day 12: Trek over Dolma la pass (5630m) camp near to Zuthrulphuk.
Day 13: Half day trek and drive to Manasarovar Lake
Day 14: Explore Chiu Monastery and Manasarovar Lake
Day 15: Drive to Paryang Day 17: Drive to Saga
Day 16: Drive to Nyalam
Day 17: Drive to Kathmandu
